Course Overview

The course will start with a review of the mechanisms behind the anthropogenic climate and its changes along with the impact on the temperature at the global level, affecting the patterns of the weather. There will be two case studies that will be used here. Firstly with the time series analysis of the wind power forecasting and secondly with the computer vision for monitoring the biodiversity. Both of them are examples where the techniques of AI will be part of understanding and mitigating climate change.
