Chemical Biology Certificate Course

Enroll in the Chemical Biology Program to learn about techniques of chemical biology.

University of Geneva

Course Overview

Chemical biology fields have been rising rapidly and there has been a high surge in interest in the understanding of the process of live cells and microorganisms. The success of chemical biology has given a sudden nexus between chemistry, biology, and physics.

Although the limitations are endless, the multidisciplinary nature of chemical biology has been daunting. In the course, students will be able to deconstruct the core components and repack the material. Also, within the process, we will be able to build up each of the students in the practical and theoretical knowledge bank, helping the students pave the way for understanding and designing their experiments.

The course will elaborate on the discussion of protein labelling strategies and fusion protein design, also, there will be large large-scale chemical biology mechanisms. Topics like membrane tension, protein localization, enzyme activities, etc will be discussed as well.
