This course is about learning SQL. Learners will be able to review the origin of the language and its foundation based on the concepts. Primarily it will focus on the SQL commands, their syntax, and the ways to use the commands with the relational database.

This course is taken as one of the academic credits as a part of CU Boulder's MS DS degree. The scope of the course not only included SELECT statements for retrieving data and making analytical reports but also included Data Definition language and data manipulation language. These are the commands which are essential for creating and maintaining any form of database objects.
